A curious story of friendship, status and myth… Set in a world of mathematics, language and inequality.

Freya is dead and arrives in an afterlife dimension; a place called “The South Direction”. Upon arrival she’s ranked a low status and directed to the metropolis, ‘Yama’, to work in the employ of a high- ranking noble, a mathematician by the name, Anzu.

As Anzu’s driver, Freya accompanies her on a journey across The South Direction; a passionate pessimist and a cold-hearted optimist embarking on this journey of learning and adventure.

Along the way, Freya discovers the rules of this universe and learns to accept the importance of Anzu’s redesigned mathematical language: a puzzle that will bring together the communities of The South Direction and end the simmering civil war. As they complete their task, together they will heal Freya’s traumatic sub-conscious and find their value along the way.
